This is a place holder so i can record my HR monitor times, and check against Danskin from 2 years ago:
7/20/2008, start 7:08 am
Swim: 16:11, 167/179 (ave/max) | Danskin - 15:56 (16:11.1, 169/201 - Time, AveHR/MaxHR) |
T1: 4:05, 178 | Danskin - 5:08 (4:59.7, 173/193) |
Bike: 42:21, 180/198 (included T2) | Danskin - 38:18 (38:19), T2: 3:13 (2:14.7) = 40 mins |
Run: 32:26, 175/189 | Danskin - 32:18 (32:12.1, 181/190) |
Total: 1:35:03 | Danskin - 1:33:56 (1:33:57) |
Uh, wow. Thats amazingly consistent. I'm pretty shocked that i lost about two minutes betwen the bike and T2, though - i would have thought my biking was about the only thing likely to have gotten stronger. I wasn't feeling very strong about the race though - i had a tough swim, and didn't really catch my breath for a while on the bike after T1. I'm just about as amazed that my swim stayed at that level, since i actually trained for the swim for Danskin. Weird.
my official results line:
Race #: 1273
Age: 33
Total Time: 1:35:03
Division Place: 59/106
Swim Time: 0:16:14
Swim Place:632
T1: 3:32
Bike Time: 0:39:58
Bike Place: 585
T2: 2:55
Place after bike: 687
Run Time: 0:32:24
Run Place: 1200
total place: 869/1405
I'm sort of trying to figure out what this means.
thanks for all my friends who did this with me, or came to cheer me on - pretty nice to see friendly faces at the end!
