 92 pages, 60 references.

For a while today i was down to 90 pages.  Tomorrow i may remove some pseudo code which will permanently decrease my length, but make a better paper.  Of course, hopefully i'll also add some figures.

My GSR finally got back to me with word that he is gone for the whole month of August.  We're looking for a new one. 

(In other news, my matlab installation at work has a nice feature wherein using the surf command crashes xwindows.  Also, my shiny new laptop has shutdown at least once unexpectedly with an unsave bib file.  Still, my latest results look really good, so i'm buoyed by that.)

Progress! Even if your page count is down it is because of progress.

Crashing X is frustrating. I hope you can avoid that "feature" most of the time.

I'm amused that there are two friends of mine (genkaku is the other one, but she doesn't post) who are hitting roughly the same ups and downs within hours of each other, and both going nuts due to the same deadline.
