Hey, they have a writer's block question!

If i had two tickets to anywhere i think i would use them for Indonesia, for J, M, and I. This is because Indonesia is the most expensive of the number of trips we'd like to take this year.

In reality, what i really want, is a way to buy like ten tickets to one destination and get a big discount on them. My biggest conundrum, always, is how to afford trips home without it meaning we can never go anywhere else. This is particularly apt today as i look for tickets for Thanksgiving. And what happens in a few months when i can no longer justify flying with M in my lap? (And am i a bad person for wanting to do that this November, so we can afford the trip?)

You're definitely not a bad person. :) I felt the same way when we went to Hawaii with Miles when he was 5 months old.

Absolutely you are a bad person. That is why you must fly through Phoenix, so that part of the way M can ride in my lap. :P

I know what you mean. Mom keeps trying to convince me that Fred must come home with me for Thanksgiving, but the cheapest airfares I'm finding are almost $600! For one of us, that's painful. For two, it would be completely impossible.

Stupid airlines.

Anyway, I thought you won the airfares to Indonesia?

Nope, not a bad person. Just a fiscally responsible one. Besides, she'd rather be sitting with you anyway. Especially on the takeoffs and landings, I'm gonna guess. Not that I have any real experience mind you, since my M has not yet been on a plane.
