During last month's tulip ride Eli and I stopped to watch these wonderful kites. The six on the left were controlled by a team of people, and were flown in complicated formations. They had some choreography working, and the kites would make sharp turns in unison, or follow each other around. I've never seen anything like it before, and it was really very cool.

All the kites around were fascinating. They seemed to be flying well, soaring in the air. It was a special treat on a special day.

The kites were cool. I wish I'd stopped to watch them for longer. The formation flying was incredible.

If you ever get a chance to come visit, I'll show you how to fly one. I have four of them, including a 12-foot parafoil that will lift you off the ground. :)
