god, i hate critical mass

Its not that i don't want bicycle advocacy, and its not that i want drivers to abuse cyclists.  But, jseesh, you escalate violence, you commit a second crime instead of taking evidence to convict a guy of the first crime, you cork and fight and run your fixie that you don't know how to use into cars... it just gives every single one of us thoughtful cyclists a bad name.  I'd much rather see monthly cascade rides where people are encouraged to respect non-cyclists as well as each other over CM.

I have to admit, i saw a CM in SF a couple of years ago.  It was beautiful and impressive.  I love seeing all those bikes on the road.

It is almost as nice as seeing ferries full of bikes going to Chilly Hilly, or 9500 people heading south to Portland.
