Deanna was in town from Thursday to Sunday, and it was really nice to have her here.

On Thursday we played Iron Dragon. Although I think this game has some flaws, i still think it was a successful evening. Aside from Deanna, we also got to see our friend Seung, which was a nice treat. I'm interested in playing Nippon Rails, actually, which looks much the same, but should be shorter.

Friday was a stupid day at work.

On Saturday we went to the Freemont Fair, mostly. We had lunch at Ivars Salmon house, which was really nice. The food was pretty good, and we got to sit around on their private deck, over looking Lake Union. It was a beautiful day to be there.

The fair was interesting. We saw some kilt booths.

We also went to Joy and Ezzie's house. I wish that Josh and I weren't so shy, because we probably would have enjoyed talking to more people if we were more outgoing.

I am almost all done with Thankyou cards. I still have announcements to do. I suck. BUT, at least i made progress.

Josh has been out of work for one week. So far, so good. He is keeping himself busy, and happy, i think.

Personally, i'm just bored with work. I have come up with an interesting problem to try, which I hope will make this week better. However, i have serious doubts about my actual worth as an employee - i seem to get burnt out quickly, and i frequently think i'd be happy working about six months out of the year. humph.

Anyway, i'm hoping hard that Deanna will get a job offer in Seattle. I would like it if she and Eli moved here.
And thats about it...
