Well, i'd better hope Josh's interview went well (i think it did), because he got layed off today. I'm not sure whether this is good or bad. (Good, i suspect, in the long term, but not very fun for today.) Its not making it any easier to concentrate today.

(Thats selfish of me, isn't it?) Good news is, he's almost completed the computer version of bourbon. It is entertaining me while I can't concentrate on writing.

Bleh. Extra stress in the short run, anyway. Wish him luck for me.

The next game House Of Slack is publishing is a suite of card games, that go with a specialized deck. (Deanna, at least at one point, should have had the rules, and the deck, and maybe even one of the computer games.)

Bourbon is the gin variant, and Josh has almost finished that computer game. He already finished the computer version of Frozen Novelty (the solitaire variant). I think they'll be sold as shareware... Its pretty cool.

One awesome thing - it the first time in a long time i've seen Josh totally interested in the programming project he was working on. He's very enthusiastic, and is enjoying working out how to solve problems. Its really cool. Its one reason i'd like to see him get a job for a game programming position.
