Although, i was still thankful when Madeleine got to the age where is was reasonable to limit our sessions to closed and private spaces.

It is one thing to want to be in a private space. It's another to be shamed or forced into it.

Have you weaned, or are you planning to give tandem nursing a shot? I was considering it with Clay (Julia was 2 1/2 when he was conceived) but it was too painful... she was weaned by 3.

Linc's down to once or twice a day, with sometimes several days in between.

Madeleine has been fully weaned since the beginning of May. I'm thankful to have the break, and she has never seemed to miss it. I don't know if she'll be tempted again to try if she sees the new baby nursing, but i figure we'll take that as it comes.
My goal with Ultra is for 1 year, and no replacement with formula, as it was with Madeleine. The extra nine months to wean M gently was worth it, as well. I guess we'll find out what Ultra thinks of that plan.
